This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. The UK already has its own defence arrangements that are separate from the EU, and it has not indiciated any intention to become part of the EU's defence arrangements:

www.gov.uk/government/organisations/ministry-of-defence/about

The UK co-operates with the EU primarily through the Common Security and Defence Policy, and the UK defence mandate published in February 2020 states that the UK will "consider participation" in EU defence programmes if that is in the UK's interest.

This link contains further information about UK defence policy and Brexit:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
