Petition Action

Make Sign Language/ BSL part of the national curriculum

Petition Details

Make sign language compulsory in education instead of or as well as learning a second language like Spanish/Germany etc

Additional Information

There are 11million deaf people in the UK yet only 151,000 people are able to sign or correctly use BSL. Making the education of sign language/ BSL compulsory would not only make deaf people feel more included but also help others to understand why it is helpful and important
