Increase state pensions to match money paid to asylum seekers
I have paid towards receiving a state pension for over 50 years and each month recieve £724 which is disgraceful enough but when you here what benefits Asylum seekers recieve it's a kick in the teeth. I want the state pension increased to match those benefits paid to non contributors .

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to increase state pension, but it's not clear how much you want it to be increased by.
Asylum seekers are given somewhere to live if they need it, and receive a weekly allowance of £37.75 for each person in the household, with some additional payments for pregnant women and new parents: www.gov.uk/asylum-support/
The full new state pension is £175.20 per week, although exactly what you will get depends on your National Insurance record.
