Social workers must be included in the announced public sector pay rises.
Social workers deserve the same pay rise offered to other public sector workers as they too have played a vital part in the country's response to Covid-19. They have continued to support vulnerable adults and children throughout this time, putting themselves at risk of catching the virus.
