Launch a thorough inquiry into Russian interference with the EU Referendum
The Government should listen to our intelligence community and launch a serious inquiry into political interference.
There are no doubts within the US/UK/EU intelligence communities that there were clear and co-ordinated efforts to interfere with the EU referendum. Russia’s attacks on democracy in the US and UK have been examined by other foreign intelligence agencies, including France which used gathered intelligence to counter Russian interference in their 2017 election. If other countries are willing to learn from our mistakes and protect their democracies, why won’t the UK?
