Petition Action

Debate the 2018 NHS pay award that did not consider Inflation/NI contributions.

Petition Details

Debate the 2018 NHS pay award that did not appear consider current levels of inflation and the increase of National Insurance contributions to award all NHS staff with an increase in pay. Some staff benefited, others did not. Equality and Agenda for Change must be Honored.

Additional Information

It's pretty simple really. NHS Staff have been risking their lives for the last four months during the pandemic. Covid 19 has tested us all. People care about other people and want to help them and their friends and families get back to good health and stay healthy. The agreed NHS pay award in 2018/19 was not a fair pay rise to all NHS bands across the board and still, Agenda for Change and the agreed pay award in 2018 does not reward NHS staff for taking on extra responsibilities. Debate please
