Pay rise for Early Years Workers

Petition Details

Most Early Years workers are waiting for the 1st of April each year to get a minimal pay increase as the National Wage goes up by a few pence!!

I AM one of those people on a National Living Wage and speaking on behalf of many in my sector, we deserve a PAY RISE!

Additional Information

We are expected to educated the children from a very young age.
Plan and implement meeting each child’s individual needs and spending many hours a week, most of the time at home, UNPAID recording observations and analysing their development.
We prepare the children for school!
Provide the highest level of care.
Ensure that the children in our care are safe, healthy and happy not only when with us, but also at home.
Communicating with parents, providing them with any support and advice they need.
The endless amount of paper work.
Meetings!
Safeguarding!
Planing!
(Not much difference from teachers?)
