This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We understand that you want the rules for prison visits to be changed, but it's not clear what changes you want the Government to make.

The Government has published some general guidance on visiting someone in prison, but prisons have different rules on things like when and how often you can visit the number of visitors allowed at the same time: www.gov.uk/staying-in-touch-with-someone-in-prison/visiting-someone-in-prison

You could start a new petition stating more clearly what changes you want the Government to make to rules for prison visits after the lockdown.
