This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Women on maternity leave are entitled to notice pay, you can find out more here:

www.citizensadvice.org.uk/work/leaving-a-job/redundancy/redundancy-notice-period/

www.maternityaction.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/Redundancy-during-pregnancy-and-maternity-leave-2017-1.pdf

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
