Award all NHS staff a pay rise of between 2-3%
Certain jobs are being awared a pay rise, such as doctors, dentists and police to name a few. It is shameful that in the current pandemic, many NHS staff have not been covered, including GPs. Other jobs to be included should be nurses, paramedics, cleaners, healthcare assistants and admin staff.
Give ALL NHS workers a pay rise to reflect their tireless effort and work during the COVID-19 pandemic. This should be in line with other jobs mentioned, subject to review but between the aforementioned amounts of 2-3.1%.
Whilst nurses had a pay rise negotiated in 2018, given the current situation they deserve to be included in the new structure and agreement along with the other jobs mentioned.
