To promote the Poppy as a sign of National Pride and remembrance
To make it Free to be worn by all Sports Representatives including International without fear of being Categorization

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
How people choose to support the armed forces and honour Remembrance Day is a matter for individuals, not the Government or House of Commons. The Government already organises a number of events around Remembrance Day.
The Government isn't responsible for the rules set by individual sporting organisations, this is matter for individual sporting organisations.
