THE CARE QUALITY COMMISION MUST CHANGE THE WAY CARE HOMES ARE MONITORED, RUN AND VETTED
This petition is here to urge the CQC to increase the frequency in which it monitors the standards of care that residents are receiving in homes for the elderley and vulnerable. We beleive thorough inspections should be made on a monthly basis, impartial befrienders should be in and around the homes every week to liaise with residents and some serious alterations should be made in how care homes recruit and monitor staff.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
