Ban new housing developments in National Parks
The Government should stop all new housing developments in national parks across the UK. The New Forest authority is accepting plans for a new large development on national park land near Calshot. Developments like this should not be allowed.
The impact on nature can be absolutely irreversible when major housing developments occur. Conserving nature and biodiversity should be of paramount importance to everyone. National parks are a haven for thousands of species, in some instances that are endemic to particular areas. This petition's values goes beyond economics, with a higher purpose of bio-conservation and the protection of wildlife.
