Stop the “Obesity Campaign” and Calorie Labelling in Restaurants and Bars

Petition Details

COVID-19 has been difficult for a lot of people and many people could risk obesity surrounding it. However, we would like to ask the Government to reconsider the “Obesity Campaign” because it is harmful to those with eating disorders, especially while mental health services aren’t funded enough.

Additional Information

The guidelines on “Better Health” are highly insensitive because they will effect people who suffer with disordered eating and their weight. Also, this is contradictory towards “Eat Out to Help Out” which encourages the public to eat more fast food at a discounted price.
