Allow PSV Licence holders to upgrade to Class 2 Licence without further testing.
PSV drivers are driving vehicles that are longer than Class 2, they also weigh more than a Class 2 and carry the most precious of cargo, (people)
With the ability to upgrade from an automatic licence to a manual licence the next sensible progression would be to allow the upgrade of categories
with the Covid 19 pandemic bus driver jobs are increasingly at risk, small businesses are failing. These drivers are then out of work.
During this same time however demand from online shopping is increasing the need for delivery drivers. The PSV drivers are well qualified with current CPC and are available for work almost immediately.
