To put LGBTQ+ Worldwide Education & History in the School Curriculum.
To make LGBTQ+ History apart of the education system in High Schools. History about oppression & acceptance throughout different cultures and how supremacism and colonialism has had an impact on homophobia throughout the years and teaching about the LGBTQ+ inventors & famous people.
When teaching students about LGBTQ+ History you are also teaching the importance of acceptance and equality. If there are gay/bi/trans people in a class and their history is being shared and accepted it makes them feel empowered. The LGBTQ+ community are not accepted everywhere, especially in countries where it is illegal for same-sex marriage and trans people cannot change their gender on their passports or have surgery. But also talking about the positives, the inventors, writers, singers, actors, poets, or historical figures who were or are LGBTQ+. History throughout ancient times, Middle Ages, world wars and in modern times.
