Ease school uniform rules for parents in September
With children going back to school in September school are asking for the kids to be in full uniform some schools have sent letter out to say that full school uniform is mandatory The cost of this can be expensive having to pay for school uniform
To help all families Many that have lost there jobs buying uniform can get very expensive with all the uncertainty around this year it would help if parents haven’t got that pressure of finding money that haven’t got to pay for uniform
A period of grace till January would help so many people a black pair of trousers and a white shirt and a grace on schools shoes
Many parents are worried about how to pay or if they can get the uniform on time and are worried what’s to come

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There is no legislation in place that deals specifically with school uniform or other aspects of appearance, so it is for the governing body of a school to decide whether there should be a school uniform policy and if so what that should be. This would include making decisions about any exemptions to a school's policy due to Covid-19.
We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:
Prevent schools from requiring uniform bought from specific shops: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/332196
Fund school uniform: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/329487
You could start a petition calling on the Government to prevent schools from imposing rules on a school uniform this autumn, if that is what you want to happen.
