Petition Action

Make changes to the 2021 A level exams that will benefit the students

Petition Details

For A level’s 2021 we want a revision on the suggestions for changes to the exams. This could be a slight reduction in content or introducing multiple questions. The changes to exams need to be more than GCSEs as the content is a lot more difficult

Additional Information

The 2021 A level cohort are disappointed with the suggestions for changes to their exams. Our work is increasingly harder compared to the GCSEs, despite this we have had less revisions. The fact we are only a couple years older shouldn’t determine how much help we get

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Decisions about exams are a matter for exam boards and individual schools, and are not a matter for the UK Government or Parliament. Ofqual has launched a consultation on 2021 exams and assessments, which you can read about here: www.gov.uk/government/news/ofqual-launches-consultation-on-2021-exams-and-assessments
