Remove temporary traffic restrictions for pedestrian social distancing.
Remove any traffic restrictions that allow pedestrians to social distance from main roads.
Traffic lights and cones forcing traffic to stop before bridges or closing entire lanes to allow pedestrians to social distance is not needed. Putting traffic restrictions in place cause chaos on our already badly planned road systems, pedestrians do not even use the extra temporary lanes created to social distance. I think that by using your common sense this is unnecessary.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about changes to local roads to enable social distancing are a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
If you are concerned about changes to local roads in your area you should contact your local authority or local councillor about this.
