Stop migrant boats from France landing in the UK by escorting back to france
I would like parliament to try to get France to stop migrants crossing the channel or make it British law to safely escort them back to france
Ask the question to the French why they have not settled status in France and why they are allowing criminals to traffic people to risk lives crossing the channel

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Under international law, it is legal for a person to apply for asylum in any country that has signed the 1951 Geneva Convention and to remain there until the authorities have assessed their claim.
You could start a new petition asking the UK Government to withdraw from international treaties that give people the right to seek asylum in the UK, if that's what you'd like to happen.
