Review the Communications Act; in contradiction with Competition Law for TV fee
Carry out a thorough review of the current Communications Act and Competition Law in relation to the BBC having ownership over the TV license fee. The BBC's ownership to the TV licence revenues allow them to 1. remain anti-competitive...
...2. remain dominant in the marketplace (in relation to rights of license fee revenues) and 3. allow the BBC to continue to negatively impact upon the choices of consumers who purchase a TV automatically being required to purchase a license which only supports the BBC despite many consumers not wishing to watch services provided by the organisation.
However, the greatest threat remains to the elderly, our most vulnerable members of society.
