Higher wages for care workers.
Everyday, during covid 19 care workers all over the uk have gone to work throughout lockdown to care for the most vulnerable in society. They have put their own health at risk, and made great sacrifices yet they earn very little, in some cases working for free or for less than the living wage.
Introduce a £12 per hour minimum wage for care workers in all sectors, rising after training/probation period.
