Reinstate face-to-face mental health services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please reinstate face-to-face mental health services, with social distancing & PPE, to prevent more lives being lost.
Most mental health services in this country have had to suspend face-to-face services- a gross assumption that the services are not essential enough to keep going as they were.
Lockdown has had a negative impact on the mental health of many.
Especially for those already suffering from poor mental health, and for those most at risk- those who are already lonely, those who are already struggling financially, and those whose ‘homes’ are abusive or unsuitable, just to name a select few.
Both the Samaritans and the U.K. police force have expressed concerns about an alarming increase in suicides and suicide attempts. This is unacceptable and requires immediate action.

Decisions about how to provide mental health services during are operational matters for NHS England, individual NHS Trusts and other providers of mental health services, not the Government or House of Commons.
