Petition Action

Dismiss all non elected MPs and hold a public vote on current MPs

Petition Details

To dismiss all non elected MPs and hold a public vote on current MPs to rid the government of corruption and to remind the government they are public servants and they should serve the people and not them selves. All non elected MPs should stand down.

Additional Information

I feel this needs to be done to stop government corruption and make an attempt to undo the carnage they are causing. The government and the prime minister's self elected MPs are all banding together and bullying there ideas in to reality. I think it's time to stand up and be counted and the government needs to be reformed with the best interests of the people as after all they are public servants. All side deals should cease and the wages of MPs to be renegotiated

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you mean by non-elected MPs. All MPs are elected.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
