Weekly tests of COVID-19 for Secondary pupils and school staff
The Government should require secondary pupils and school staff to take weekly Covid-19 tests in order to attend schools.
Recent research appears to show that secondary pupils spread the virus like adults. Although they may not suffer badly from Covid-19 they could pass it on to vulnerable parents and other relatives. Many older pupils (Year 10/11) are in bubbles of 200-250 children, which could mean massive outbreaks of the virus in local communities.
