Allow victims of violent crime the same self-defence tools America has
Legalise non-firearm self-defence items to be purchased online and across the counter for vulnerable citizens only. No more prosecutions for endangered Britons who have only made these purchases to defend themselves.
The self-defence items currently legal here in the UK leave victims of violent crime feeling very restricted. All we have are loud noise devices the size of key-ring fobs and a spray gel that only marks the assailant for identification - not deter them like illegal pepper spray.
How will this ever save lives if the police are not at hand?
