The royal family should pay for themselves

Additional Information

The royal family and members of the civil list receive millions of pounds of public money every year in direct and indirect funding. This continues while they are amongst the richest members of our society. Whilst there are some public duties and functions that they perform which can understandably be funded by the tax payer the royal family and associated others cost hard working tax payers a massive and unjustified amount of money every year, money that could and should be spent on schools, hospitals and the well-being of the many not the few.
