Many small businesses cannot afford the expense of franking machines and accounts despite franking offering cheaper postage prices.

Since the introduction of the SmartStamp software by Royal Mail there is no acceptable reason as to why franking prices cannot be given to small businesses via the SmartStamp software.

With the current extortionate price increases by Royal Mail, it is only fair that small businesses can gain access to cheaper postage prices via SmartStamp as well as lowering the amount of parcels sent per year to qualify for discounted postage prices to 500 parcels per year.

This will greatly help small business who will now suffer from the new price increases.
