Order Mervyn King to pay back his salary and any other financial benefits he received while he was Governor of The Bank of England
He has publicly announced that he didn't do his job properly so it cannot possibly be right that he should keep the money he was paid while he was not doing the job he was being paid for. To allow him to keep the money he was given will give licence to every single taxpayer funded employee to have absolutely no interest in doing their job, at least properly, because they know they will never be held to account for their failure - APART FROM MAYBE BEING HOISTED TO THE HOUSE OF LORDS.
