Petition Action

Compulsory Voting in National and Local Elections and Referenda

Additional Information

Voting in National and Local Elections and in Referenda should be made compulsory for all those eligible to vote, as already happens in Australia. This would avoid ludicrous situations as has just happened in the local elections where a mere 32% of the electorate voted, which makes any result totally meaningless.
