No political ennoblements to the House of Lords
Politicians should not be elevated to the peerage, and thus be able, as it stands at the moment, to take a seat in the House of Lords. Political parties should not be able to elevate their followers, whether MPs or from other walks of life, for political reasons. Elevation to the House of Lords should be reserved solely for the deserving.
