Petition Action

Reform of MP's pensions

Additional Information

Following on from the Hutton and Tom Winsor reports in to Pensions MP's should have their pension contributions increased to 13.9%. The following should also be included.
The final salary pension should be scrapped.
MP's should not be entitled to a full pension for only working 15 years in office.
MP's should not be able to claim their pension until they are 65 if they stop becoming an MP.
MP's to work until they are 60 to be entitled to a full pension.
This would make it fair and show "that we are all in it together".
