Protection for Home Buyers from Vendors pulling out before exchange
Government must bring in more legislation to protect buyers against vendors pulling out of a sale prior to exchanging contract. This becomes more relevant in cases where the vendor accepts an offer and issues an offer letter instructing the buyer to start the home buying process wherein the buyer incurs cost only to incur financial losses when the vendor decides they want more money and resort to blackmailing buyers and pull out of the deal. Given we live in a democracy why do sellers have more rights than buyers? Given the current climate the Government should introduce laws to protect buyers interest which will improve the property market and make it more regulated
