Petition Action

BBC iPlayer Live TV to have a Twitter Application

Additional Information

Many of us enjoy using Twitter to talk about BBC programmes when watching them online - an example is Question Time, which often promotes its hashtag, #bbcqt, online.

I propose the Culture Secretary works with the BBC to add a Twitter application to the BBC iPlayer page - with the option to hide it for non-twitter users - so that BBC can continue their forward-thinking use of social media.

(Note - obviously this would be more useful for the live programming on iPlayer, not recorded programmes).
