Soho 20mph Slow Zone
Creating a 20 mile an hour slow zone in the whole of the soho area from Shaftesbury Avenue in the south to Mortimer/Goodge Street in the north, Charing Cross/Tottenham Court Road in the east to Regent Street in the west. Also inclusive of these roads and the areas where they intersect.
This is an extremely built up area in terms of pedestrians- from tourists to the local workforce, not to mention the vibrant nightlife. At the moment the traffic races through this area at dangerous speed. There have been many incidents and some of them fatal. Enforcing a 20 mile an hour zone should hopefully prevent any further fatalaties and protect the local community and those visiting London.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
A decision on establishing a 20 mph zone in Soho is a matter for Transport for London, the City of Westminster and the London Borough of Camden.
