Cutting the deficit
Today the EU Commission has strongly advised the UK Government to keep reducing the deficit, though at the same time increase investment.
"The UK's deficit is expected to be 6.1% in 2012-13, "one of the highest in the EU", the commission said."
"Brussels expects the UK economy will expand by 0.5% this year, and by 1.7% in 2013. The OBR currently predicts growth of 0.8% this year, and 2% in 2013."
We must slow down the pace of the cut backs, and increase the amount of investment, so we can get more people into employment, then putting them on the dole queue!
I urge this Government to Take immediate action, to slow down the pace of cuts, and increase investment
