cut mp's salaries by 25%

Additional Information

At the start of their term the government announced that they were taking a 5% pay cut, this is just a token gesture...David Cameron will lose around £7500....but he is paid £208,238 a year.
They have said many times that we are in this 'together' and we must 'share the pain' if they want to share this burden,a burden which the voting public did not cause, then in my opinion they must start by cutting their own salaries by 25%

MPs = £65,738.

PM = £142,500 + £65,738 MPs salary. Ministers salary = £130,000 approx + MPs salary. 650 MPs
£65,738 x by 650 = £42,729,700
£213,648,500 over 5 year term.

22 ministers :- £130,000 x by 22 =£2,860,000.
£14.300,000 over 5 year term.

25% for MPs = £53,412,125 saving over 5 years
25% for PM = £178,125 saving over 5 years
25% for cabinet = £3,575,000 over 5 years

TOTAL OVER 5 YEAR TERM = £57,165,250
