Reduce Employer’s National Insurance
For the UK economy to recover it is vital that it starts to grow. Critical to growth is for employers to start employing. The government should actively encourage employment by reducing 'Job Taxes'.
A meaningful reduction in Employer’s National Insurance would result in a virtuous circle.
Increased employment = Lower levels of benefit claim = Government savings.
Increased employment = Increase in PAYE tax receipts.
Increased employment = Greater consumer confidence = Increase in VAT tax receipts.
Greater consumer confidence = Business confidence.
Business confidence = Increased investment.
Increased business investment = Growth.
Growth = UK economic recovery.
A reduction in Employer’s NI would increase tax revenue and stimulate growth.
Reducing ‘job taxes’ was an election pledge.
