alcohol labelling to be same as tobacco
I am shocked at why when i pick up a packet of tobacco or cigarettes I see various shocking statements and pictures about the ill effects of smoking but there seems to be nothing like this on any packaging or labelling for alcohol products. on average 33000 people die a year from drinking reated illnesses which is about a 3rd of the amount that dies from smoking. So why are tobacco products being treated totally different from alchohol? I would like to see alcohol advertising banned like tobacco advertising and also serious health warnings on products. Both products are addictive and both products are potentially lethal . So why are both products not expected to warn uses of the dangers?
