Petition Action

Make it illegal for organisations with a duty of care to hide behind the statement 'I/We cannot discuss individual cases'.

Additional Information

Daily we read/hear reports where care organisations have failed, dangerously, in their statutory duty of care who then trot out the excuse for not commenting on the incident which has endangered a person for whom they had a statutory duty of care 'We cannot discuss individual cases where we have failed'. That stance is TOTALLY unacceptable and is allowing these organisations, and is being supported in same by our judiciary, to hide their culpability for the failure which occurred.
