Boris Bikes should be Free to Registered Users and Local People for the Duration of the Olympics
There is quite likely to be increased congestion
on the road in London during the Olympic Games.
A lot of local people like the Bikes but cannot
afford to hire them.
If you cannot get to work, because the Tube is Packed, you could try the Bikes
but you should not have an increased financial burden, just because of the Olympics. The easiest
technical way to do this is just set the tariff to zero,
in the affected zone for every day of the Games.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for the Mayor and Greater London Assembly.
