We call upon the Government to overrule Defence Secretary, Philip Hammond, and his plans to permit further denigration to Yorkshires Historic Army Regiments buy allowing the disbandment of this fine battalion which carries the name name of one of Britains finest heroes The Duke of Wellington.
Conservatives were very vocal in 2005 in opposing Labour who carried out similar cuts. This proposed continuation of that destructive process must be halted.
