David Beckham to play for Team GB at London 2012
"We, the undersigned, believe David Beckham should be included in the men’s football squad to represent Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics.
"Mr Beckham played an integral part in helping London’s bid to host the Games and has been a long-term ambassador of the benefits of sport
to young people around the world.
"He deserves the opportunity to represent Team GB and be adequately rewarded for the dedication he has shown to bringing the Games to Great Britain.
"We call on manager Stuart Pearce to reconsider his decision to exclude Mr Beckham and give him the chance to play in the London 2012 Olympics."
