Bankers fines (issued by FSA) should be directly redistributed to bank customers
Barclay's bank has just been fined 290 million GBP by the FSA and equivalent authorities in the US. Shouldn't the customers of Barclay's, and other banks in future, benefit from this cash? It should be issued to customers as a tax free lump sum compensation.
Government should legislate to make all fines issued by FSA to be channelled directly back to customers.
