Save the 1st Battalion Princess of Wales Royal Regiment
We call on the Government to retain the historical tradition of the 1st Battalion Princess of Wales Royal Regiment and not weld the Axe on this regiment as part of the defence cuts.
The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (Queen's and Royal Hampshires) (PWRR, known as 'The Tigers') is the senior English line infantry regiment of the British Army, part of the Queen's Division. It was formed in 1992 by the amalgamation of The Queen's Regiment and The Royal Hampshire Regiment.
