All Civil Servants to retire at 60

Additional Information

Civil Servants to retire at 60 years of age in line with othe Civil Servants.

This is to recognise the stressful environment of the workplace.

It is unrealistic to expect staff up to 68 years of age to continue working when they are more likely to be part-time workers unable to keep up with the constant pace of change due to the nature of the job role.

THE GOVERNMENT MUST RECOGNISE ALL CIVIL SERVANTS TO BE TREATED EQUALLY AND BE ABLE TO RETIRE AT THE SAME AGE.
