Reverse the decision to close Leeds General Infirmary's specialist cardiac unit
An official review concluded Leeds General Infirmary should stop surgery so care could be concentrated at fewer, larger sites to improve standards.
Families in Yorkshire and the Humber region will instead have to travel to Newcastle or Liverpool for surgery.
This effectively leaves Yorkshire with no specialist cardiac unit of this kind.
This e-petition aims to reverse the decision to close the unit and maintain a centre of this kind in Yorkshire.
