Save the 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers
Save the Second Battalion the royal Regiment of Fusiliers from the latest bout of government cuts.
The Battalion is fully manned, operationally fit willing and able to deploy at a moment’s notice.
Other Regiments who have already been amalgamated are struggling to recruit we are not, before any cuts are made a study should be carried out into what is the root cause of their recruitment problems; before another Infantry Regiment is destroyed.
The Regimental Creed.
I am a Fusilier, trained and ready to deploy.
I will defend my country's freedoms with respect and integrity.
I will always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I will place the mission and the team first.
I will never accept defeat nor let down my mates or my Regiment
I will always be one of England's finest, a Fusilier
Once we have lost the Second Battalion it will not be long before we hand over the colours and all the tradition that this historic Regiment has built over the centuries.
