Rangers to play in England

Additional Information

This is a petition to campaign for the government to instigate an open, serious and sensible debate for the football club Rangers to be accepted to play football in England - from the lower leagues tier system.

There has already been a precedent for this - Rangers were members of the English FA in 1885.

With Welsh clubs currently playing in England, there is already cross border football taking place in Britain.

Rangers are a proud club with proud British traditions. They have many links and friends with English clubs.

Rangers will bring a refreshed excitement and rivalry to the English game, as well as many commercial opportunities for England through it's large fan base.

This petition asks supporters of ALL football clubs to restore the link from over 100 years ago and in the spirit of improvement - raise the profile and competitive nature of the English leagues.
