Modern public toilet signs are confusing which causes many mistakes.

Confusion caused by Italic and/or joined up writing and confusion by artistic (fancy pictures)

We call upon the government to legislate an industry standard which must be used throughout the country in order to prevent such mistakes.

Ladies and Gents should be displayed in block capital letters and the pictures should be colour coded. Pink/Blue.
